This is a negative expression and fits really well into sentences.

form: too + adjective + infinitive

i.e.       It's too late to go out.

            He's too slow to play for our team.

Modification

the phrases can be modified by the following phrases:

much, far, a little, a bit, rather

i.e.       It's a bit too late to go out.

            It's a little too late to go out.

            It's far too late to go out.

            It's much too late to go out.
