Keeping and Breaking a Promise
The word promise has some interesting collocations. Today, I present two of them.
to keep a promise: to
do what you say you will do,
to break a promise: to not do what you say you will do.
I probably don't need to tell you this, but people like you
better if you always keep your promises.
